Seasonal Floristry from Our Flower Farm in Lancashire

Thoughtfully created funeral flowers, curated weddings and small group floral workshops.

We are a flower farm and floristry studio based in Burscough, creating natural, garden-inspired flowers using the best of the season. From April to September, many of the flowers we use are grown by us, giving our work a relaxed, personal feel.

We work with intention rather than volume, taking on a limited number of orders each week so every piece receives the time, care and attention it deserves.

  • Diane- Funeral

The Flower Farm provided the flowers and arrangements for my Dad's funeral yesterday. After having a conversation with Clare about what colours and types of flowers he loved, she created the most perfect tribute. There were so many comments about how beautiful they were. Thank you in helping us give Dad the send off he so deserved.

  • Allyson - Workshop

Very clear demonstration , fabulous range of greenery and flowers along with extra materials . I would thoroughly recommend a session with these ladies, it’s time well spent! A lovely group of ladies to share the experience with too, we all went home with beautiful arrangements.

  • Jenna- Wedding

Flower Farm Floristry created the most beautiful flowers for our wedding last year. They were absolutely perfect in every way. The attention to detail, the care, and the thought that was put into everything really showed.

The flowers were the freshest and most beautiful I’ve ever seen and I genuinely smile every time I think about them.

Natural, seasonal funeral tributes created with care

Funeral Flowers

We create natural, seasonal funeral flowers with care, sensitivity and simplicity.

Our funeral designs are inspired by the garden rather than rigid or formal styles, using seasonal flowers chosen for their beauty and suitability at the time of year. To make things easier at a difficult time, we offer a small number of carefully considered options rather than fully bespoke designs.

Created in our workshop and delivered with care to your chosen funeral director.

Talk To Us

If you’d like to discuss funeral flowers, book a workshop or check wedding availability, we’d love to hear from you.

Fresh, Local, Lovely Flowers

Here's Why We're Different.

We Really Do Listen

One thing our lovely customers often say? “You just got it!”

That’s because we take the time to listen properly — asking the right questions to understand exactly what you’re picturing, then doing our very best to bring it to life.

We love using homegrown and British flowers whenever we can — they’re fresh, beautiful, and better for the planet. But we’re also realistic. If something’s out of season or you have a specific flower in mind, we’re more than happy to source from the best growers around the world to get it just right.

No pressure, no flower snobbery — just flowers you love, the way you want them.

Fair, Honest & No Fuss

We believe in being straightforward and fair. Our prices are always transparent, and we work hard to offer the very best value for your budget — no hidden extras, no upselling, just beautiful flowers done properly.

You may find cheaper elsewhere, but we honestly think you’d be hard pressed to match what we offer in terms of quality, care, creativity, and service. We put our heart into every design.

We're Kind (and Always Happy to Help)

If you’ve got a question — big or small — please don’t hesitate to ask. Honestly, no question is ever too daft. We’re pretty down to earth, and we never want anyone to feel stressed about ordering flowers from us — whether it’s for a gift, a wedding, or something more difficult like a funeral.

We’re always here to listen, support, and guide you through the options. We know that sometimes flowers are needed in sad or emotional times, and we promise to treat every enquiry with care, kindness and empathy.

💌 The best way to get in touch is by email: clare@theflowerfarm.co.uk

📞 Or, if you’d prefer to chat, feel free to call Clare on 07780 950537 – just a heads-up that our phone signal is dreadful (sorry – rural life!), but we’ll always get back to you as soon as we can.

We're LGBTQ+ Allies

At Flower Farm Floristry, we love love and firmly believe that absolutely every couple should have access to the most beautiful flowers for their special day. Should yours be a traditional wedding, an elopement, a civil ceremony, handfasting, a commitment ceremony or any other way you choose to show how much you love each other and share that with your friends and family, we will be there for you to make that day even more beautiful.

We fully support LGBTQ+ rights and equality in marriage, and everyone’s right to carry a bouquet or wear a buttonhole, or a flower crown on their big day (or not) regardless of your sexuality, gender or pronouns. If you’d like it, tell us, and we will make it for you and make it gorgeous without ever a hint of judgement.

We're All About the Little Details

We really do put our hearts into everything we do. Whether it’s a single bouquet or a big wedding order, every arrangement gets the same level of care and attention.

We hand-select each flower to make sure it looks just right, condition everything carefully, and double-check the quality before we start arranging. We take time to make sure we’re meeting your wishes, then package it all up beautifully and deliver with care.

We Care About the Planet

Looking after the earth and soil that gives us our flowers really matters to us — not just for now, but for the future too.

We do our best to source homegrown, local, and British flowers and foliage wherever we can. During the growing season, much of what we use comes straight from our own field on Clare’s families arable farm. Out of season, we may use imported blooms if needed, but we’ll always choose with care and keep things as local as possible.

We avoid cellophane, artificial flowers, and poly ribbon, and prefer to present our flowers in reusable vases or wrapped in simple paper. We steer clear of floral foam as much as we can — but if a design really needs it, we use bio foam as a better (though not perfect) option.

We compost our green waste and cardboard, and don’t use pesticides on our homegrown flowers.

It’s all part of doing what we can, where we can — one small step at a time.
